I am fascinated by politics, government, and the effect things like religion play in them.  My political affiliation would have to be concerned.  That is neither Democrate or Republican.  I was raised Catholic; grew up with a friend who's father was Middle Eastern and Muslim.  Many of the people I have encountered are Baptist so I have heard much about the Bible.  My own personal studies have given me some knowlede of Buddism and Islam along with more on Christianity.  I must say I am not a big fan of religion in general.  I see it as the root of all evil since God created evil, the Devil.  Religion has killed more people then any disease has.  I am not a fan of disease so I don't see how I can be a fan of something that killed more.  If there is a Creator to this universe we live in I am sure somewhere along the way his message didn't get through to us.
